  Midsommar Its a proper horror film without the cheap jumpscares. It builds up very slowly but it makes it very apparent that something bad always seem to loom on the horizon. Think camping in a forest all alone at night but you keep hearing rustling nearby, the rhythm familiar but something seems off; the weight of steps neither human nor animal-like

  (Is this a scream refrense) I'd probably have to say Christine but I can't really say it's a horror movie, but I did enjoy it even though it's rated as a horror movie. Personally I enjoy a lot of Stephen Kings work, this is just one I happened to see recently (want to read the novel now) and thought like I should mention. Of course I've actually seen other movies way scarier than this, I just like the story behind it.
