  One of my important life lessons is, "Don't make you do too high effort" There are many upward compatible people than me. This truth was not clear when I was a high school student. After I entered a collage and met those people, I changed my mind to chase high level things constantly. 教訓：自分に過大な無茶はしない 自分よりも秀でた人が沢山いる、という事実を、高校まではあまり実感できませんでしたが、 大学で同じ年代ながら優秀な人を沢山見た結果、無理に頑張るのはやめよう、と思えるようになりました。

  Speaking clearly, loudly and confidently in a friendly way, if you are too shy to even greet the cashier at a store then it's a problem, people will only think you're kind, friendly and have good manners if you say "Bye, have a nice day" in a cheerful and clear way :) there is no problem with not talking much but aim for a "Wow, what a friendly person" image of yourself
