I'd say yes if this were only about entertainment, but it isn't, is it? Without the internet I wouldn't be able to check my bank account as conveniently as I do. I literally have never ever wired money to anyone without online banking. I would have to change the way I buy tickets for public transport, I have no idea how to get most places without my online map, much less where to even go to buy certain things. At airports they are slowly removing the staffed counters for example, because people can check in online, you have to wait twice the amount of time to even meet a person. There are way more things than entertainment that I do on the internet nowadays, things that are slowly becoming impossible to do without.

インターネット無しで過ごせます。旅行などに出かけなくてもゲームや読書、色々できますからね。今時の若者はインターネットがないと大変かもしれないんだけど、昔はインターネットを常に使える便利な機械がなかったですね。

Yeah but I'd be bored because most of the things I do are online in some form. My IRL life isn't too exciting at this stage of my life, so, yeah, I could *survive*(🙄 ) without internet, but I'd have to find other things to do

Depends on the premise. If my computer and phone or the Wi-Fi router crashed, I would go for a week even if i would go crazy while I’m at it whether I wanted it or not. but I’m not sure that can be called “I went for a week”. and if I would go camping or something, I surely can get through that. if i don't even know the premise of "trying to see if I can go without the internet for a week", I would definitely lose in no time. and if i can get a reward, if it's 5000 yen or more, I'll do it, and if it's less than that, I'll say, "I don't need it, let me use the Internet."
