I have 2 native languages but after learning welsh more in depth it did make me actually realise how irregular English is. Also I realised welsh is a gendered language which I actually didn't notice before 🥲

(vn) grammar is very casual (basically no grammar unless you want to sound like google translate) and word formation is very logical, you know how to spell a word just from learning the "components" (...looking at you eng). also, the intuition behind it is very similar to jp, so it feels more natural to learn jp compared to eng. finally, the beauty of chinese characters used across languages

Chinese grammar is weird. There's no conjugation or declension or whatsoever. Thus in a sense you can say there's no grammar.

Spanish have the same pronunciation (sounds ) as Japanese and Spanish its a lesser regular language than I thought

Funny enough, learning how japanese is structured and how you can say so much with less words, alongside knowing english from a young age, spanish has become kinda cumbersome to speak to me because of the need of longer words and phrases to express what I want to say.
